The UFC’s newest superfight is barely a couple of week away, and one other titleholder will take a shot at turning into a twin champion.

UFC bantamweight champ T.J. Dillashaw (16-Three MMA, 12-Three UFC) drops down 10 kilos to problem for a second concurrent title towards flyweight champ Henry Cejudo (13-2 MMA, 7-2 UFC).

How did we get right here? Dillashaw beat Renan Barao to win the bantamweight title in 2014. He defended it twice, then misplaced it to Dominick Cruz in 2016. After Cruz misplaced it to Cody Garbrandt, Dillashaw received a crack on the belt – towards his former Staff Alpha Male teammate, with loads of drama.

At UFC 217 in November 2017, Dillashaw received the title again with a second-round TKO. In a rematch this previous August at UFC 227, Dillashaw received the job carried out once more – even quicker the second time round.
